Our philosophy at A BETTER DOG TRAINING that training your pet dog gives him the life he deserves. An untrained dog can result in annoying, impolite, and potentially result in very dangerous behaviors. Jumping can knock over kids, pulling on the leash makes walking a chore and not enjoyable, nails can scratch and mouthing hurts, even when the dog is just playing. When dogs do these things many people ban them to the back yard, crate or other containment. Some pet owners decide to give the dog away or drop them off at a shelter. When someone removes a dog from his pack, the dog leads a miserable life.

Training gives you both the opportunity to enjoy each other's company and spend more time together. Banning your dog makes all behavior problems worse! A frustrated pet dog will dig, chew, bark, and jump to get attention. You will learn during the program that for your pet, any attention is better than no attention at all. He does not understand that it is those very behaviors that keep him separated, unless he learns otherwise from you the "pack leader."

Our Program teaches you to train your pet how to behave in all situations. You will learn what is going on inside your dog's head, how they think and perceive the world, which is very different from how we think, which is a key element of our program.
